BPEC Domestic Ventilation Systems Training

BPEC developed the Domestic Ventilation Systems 2010 course with the aim of providing electricians, plumbers, heating and ventilation engineers with the knowledge and skills to correctly install and commission domestic ventilation systems.

The course has been structured to meet the requirements of the Approved Document to Part F of the Building Regulations 2010 including the accompanying Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide and is recognised as a demonstration of competence for Competent Person Schemes (CPS).

Our two day course covers installation, inspection, commissioning and handover of each of the four ventilation systems defined in Part F, which includes intermittent extract fans, passive stack ventilation and continuous mechanical ventilation with or without heat recovery. It also provides an understanding of all the legal issues surrounding the installation of these systems and guidance on completion and submission of all the appropriate notifications.

To be able to complete the course you will need some theoretical and practical knowledge of domestic ventilation.

To register, please download our BPEC course brochure, and complete the application form on the back page.

Applications can be either sent via email to or posted to:
