  • Fireman's Axe Handles

Titon’s ‘Fireman’s axe’ handles are designed to provide security and complete peace of mind, as their innovative design prevents anyone opening a window that does not have the correct tool to operate the handle. They were originally designed for use on the continent to allow firemen to gain entry as the hole in these handles was the right shape to enable one part of the fireman’s axe to operate the handle and open the window.

Available in powder coated or anodised finishes, Titon’s specialised range, provide specifiers and fabricators with a choice of products to help them meet the complexities and variations in a broad range of applications.

Titon’s extensive range of window hardware provides a great selection of hinges, pivots and locking systems. There is a choice of different opening formats, combined with handles, locks and restrictors to enable specifiers and fabricators to select the best combination for virtually any application. Most of the product lines have been specified and used over many years and all feature high levels of manufacturing quality and inherent durability.

Julian Wiseman, Sales Director (Aluminium), Titon, said: "Our aluminium range combines top quality manufacturing with versatility and we work incredibly hard to deliver the kind of products that specifiers and fabricators insist upon to meet a broad range of requirements. We hope Titon’s fittings, vents and hardware for aluminium doors and windows, along with the members of our knowledgeable and experienced team, will combine in making all of our trade customers lives a little easier."
