Titon’s HRV1 Q Plus ultra efficient whole house ventilation units have been installed in a Kitewood Estates development of 123 affordable homes in Southbury Road, Enfield. Now the product of choice for a number of major UK housebuilders, the Titon units are helping all the apartments in this development comply with Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. 

The installers were London based SJD Mechanical Services. Commenting on Titon, Steve Jeffrey from SJD said: “The energy efficiency and performance of the Titon HRV1 Q Plus ventilation units helped with the achievement of Code Level 3 for this development. Plus, the service and back-up we received from Titon was outstanding.” The development was built by Denne Construction and the units are available to rent or part-buy through London & Quadrant Housing Association. 

Titon’s HRV1 Q Plus is one of the most efficient whole house ventilation (with heat recovery) units of its size in the UK, has been independently tested by the BRE and is EST Best Practice compliant. Thanks to its discreet but revolutionary design, the unit offers the kind of performance that up until now has only been available from much larger and more complex products.

Measuring just 600mm x 430mm x 285mm its size belies its performance – the HRV1 Q Plus is suitable for properties with a kitchen and up to five additional wet rooms, but is predominantly aimed at applications where space is at a premium. Designed and manufactured in the UK with the architect, developer and contractor in mind, its small size makes it easier to fit where space is limited, for example in flats.
