Titon MVHR Units Awarded Leading European Certification Mark - June 2017

Titon’s high capacity HRV1.35, HRV2 and HRV3 Q Plus MVHR units have each been granted NF205 certification further bolstering their credentials for the international export market.

The NF Mark certifies the air flow and acoustic performances of products in accordance with the applicable European standards, while guaranteeing compliance with efficiency and sound level thresholds.

Issued by an independent and impartial third party in France, NF certification is a sign of quality and safety recognised throughout Europe. It demonstrates how products and services conform to national, European and international normative standards, as well as any relevant technical specifications.

Commenting on the certification, Shaun Horn-Critchlow, Director of International Sales at Titon, said: "Being awarded NF205 on our MVHR units is excellent news for us, especially in the export market. It illustrates exactly how efficiently our products perform in accordance with European standards, which further instils confidence and reassurance among our continental customers. The NF logo is recognised by eight out of ten French people, across 50,000 products and services - so Titon is certainly in respected and select company."

To make specification simple, all Titon whole house MVHR units have been independently tested by the BRE and are EST Best Practice compliant. Fully compliant with Part F of the Building Regulations, the combination of very low power consumption and a highly efficient heat exchanger is specifically designed to enhance SAP performance via Appendix Q. All models are fitted with incredibly quiet and very energy efficient fans.
