Titon scoops Best Health and Safety Product award - July 2016

Titon Ventilation Systems are pleased to announce that its new Trimbox NO2 Filter® aimed at reducing Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) emissions in the home has won 'Best Health and Safety Product' at this year's Housebuilder Product Awards held at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium on the 29th June.

The Trimbox NO2 Filter® allows improved indoor air quality within the home, by combining it with Titon's MVHR system it allows 'clean' air into the home and creates a healthy environment for the occupier.

It is estimated that nearly 9,500* lives are lost each year due to NO2 levels in the London area alone, highlighting the issues that arise from diesel car pollution and one that Titon aims to reduce.

The award is recognition to all the hard work that the Research & Development and Engineering teams at Titon have put in over the last 18 months to make a unique product that is championing and providing better indoor air quality (IAQ) within the home.

Stephen Lilley, Design & Development Engineer for Titon, stated "It is great to see the product has been recognised, we wanted to make people more aware of the issues that NO2 causes within the home, especially in urban areas as they have high levels of traffic pollutants. By designing the Trimbox in to a Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) system, it will absorb over 95% of NO2, reducing respiratory issues that can arise".
