Titon's Most Efficient Unit Yet: The HRV10 Q Plus - July 2012

Titon has recently added the HRV10 Q Plus to its highly efficient range of heat recovery ventilation units. Delivering impressive performance levels, the new lightweight unit has a specific fan power as low as 0.48w/l/s, efficiencies of up to 92% and extremely low power consumption - perfect for medium to larger properties with up to seven wet rooms.

As standard, the HRV10 Q Plus features Titon's sophisticated frost protection system and Summer Mode, which help reduce susceptibility to the summer overheating of dwellings. Optional extras include Summer Bypass and SUMMERboost® modes.

The HRV10 Q Plus is manufactured from lightweight EPP and weighs just 17.5kg, which not only provides extremely high levels of thermal insulation for improved performance, but also makes transportation and installation quick and easy. Where required, a metal cased version is also available.

Measuring 790mm(w) x 665mm(h) x 485mm(d), the HRV10 Q Plus is suitable for installation in loft spaces and service cupboards and is designed to enhance SAP performance via Appendix Q. All the units are also EST Best Practice compliant – which will assist in achieving high dwelling energy efficiency ratings.

Jim Blinman, Technical Sales Manager, Titon said: "It’s important that we continue to develop our popular HRV range to allow house builders to keep pace with the changing Building Regulations and legislation. The addition of the HRV 10 Q Plus - and its impressive performance - allows Titon to offer a suitable product for a wide variety of property sizes, as well as flexible options for specifiers, contractors and end users."
